Delivery Updates - HGV Driver Crisis & Covid 19

NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY -
DELAYS IN SOME AREAS FOR PALLETISED DELIVERIES - PARCEL DELIVERIES ARE NOT AFFECTED.
Due to the current HGV driver crisis, orders delivered on a pallet are experiencing some delays.
Haulage firms are trying their utmost to honour next day deliveries but due to unforseen circumstances it may not be possible.
Next day deliveriers are currently not guranteed and are replaced with Express delivery where they will deliver at the earliest possible availability.
Palletised delivery is for large bulky & heavy items such as butchers blocks, tables & large / heavy butchers machinery.

STANDARD FREE DELIVERY: Upto 8 working days -
Due to the extremely high demand faced by courier companies the standard free delivery option on average is taking upto 4 working days. Unfortunatley in very few cases it can take upto 8 working days in some areas.
All our delivery partners have taken steps to help minimise the risk of infection to our customers & the delivery personel. We are doing everything possible to support our customers & our people so that we can minimise any disruption & continue giving our customers the best possible delivery experience during this difficult time.
We offer FREE DELIVERY to UK mainland on all orders with NO MINIMUM SPEND.
For delivery costs to Offshore & Remote areas please see prices below under Delivery to Offshore & Remote Areas. We use Royal Mail, DPD Local, TNT & Palletways for our deliveries, dependant on the type & size of the parcel.
For NEXT DAY delivery the order must be placed & paid for by 1pm. All orders placed & paid after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day. NEXT DAY delivery only applies to mainland UK orders.
Orders placed before 1pm on a Friday will be dispatched on a Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on a weekend, bank holidays and after 1pm will not be dispatched until the next working day.
If item is not available for next day delivery it will be clearly noted in the product details. You may also call our customer service team to enquire about delivery times for large & bulky item before purchase.
Delivery is to the entrance only & does not include unpacking, positioning or assembling items. The Customer must examine the Goods on delivery and before the carrier leaves the Customer’s premises and if there is any damage the Customer must either refuse delivery or clearly specify damage on the delivery note.
- Delivery to Offshore & Remote Areas
Offshore & Remote area delivery services (such as Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Alderney) carry an extra cost.
Deliveries to Offshore & Remote areas can take upto 4 days dependent on size of delivery.

- Extended Delivery Items
Some items have extended delivery times. This applies to most heavy or bulky items.

- Heavy & Bulky Equipment
Our specialist delivery team will contact you to confirm a delivery date. Best efforts will be made to deliver within the timescale mentioned on the item description.
Delivery of machines will be made to the ground floor entrance to the building. It does not include negotiating lifts or stairs.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered will fit through doorways and into their premises. We cannot accept responsibility if it will not fit. Any carriage charges caused by an aborted delivery are the customer’s responsibility.
Delivery does not include unpacking or positioning or assembling items.
- Force Majure
The Supplier shall not be liable for any failure to deliver the Goods arising from circumstances outside the Supplier’s control.
Non-exhaustive illustrations of such circumstances would be act of God, war, riot, explosion, abnormal weather conditions, fire, flood, strikes, lockouts, Government action or regulations (UK or otherwise), delay by suppliers, accidents and shortage of materials, labour or manufacturing facilities.
