Delivery Information

We offer FREE DELIVERY to UK mainland on all orders with NO MINIMUM SPEND using Royal Mail, DPD Local, TNT and Palletways.

Couriers will deliver your order to the ground floor entrance of your property; this does not include unpacking, positioning or assembling the items.

Important: We always advise you to examine your order before the courier leaves your premises. If you find any issues, you should either refuse the delivery or clearly describe the type and nature of the damage on the delivery note.

Orders containing a bladed item will incur a delivery charge for age verified delivery.

For Express Delivery, orders must be placed and paid for by 1pm. Orders placed after 1pm, on a Friday, during the weekend or on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day.

Not all items are available for express delivery; this will be clearly stated in the product details. For larger or bulkier items, we recommend contacting our team before purchase.

Express delivery charges are non-refundable if dispatched on time and delayed by the courier. However, if your item has not arrived by the third working day, please call us on 01254 427761 and we will review this for you.

For age verified deliveries, if nobody is present or ID cannot be provided, delivery will be re-attempted the next working day. If unsuccessful, a calling card will be left and the parcel held for 24 hours. If no contact is made and the parcel is returned, an admin charge of £8.00 + VAT (£9.60) along with the original delivery cost will be deducted from your refund.

Delivery Information

We offer FREE DELIVERY to UK mainland on all orders with NO MINIMUM SPEND.

All orders containing a bladed item will incur a delivery charge for age-verified delivery; because of this, orders containing bladed items qualify for free delivery with a minimum spend of £50. You will need to verify your age at the point of delivery.

Delivery to offshore & Remote area 's (such as Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Alderney) carry an extra cost.

We use Royal Mail, DPD Local, TNT & Palletways for our deliveries, dependant on the type & size of the parcel.

For Express Delivery* the order must be placed & paid for by 1pm. All orders placed & paid after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day*. Express delivery only applies to mainland UK orders.

Orders placed after 1pm on a Friday will be dispatched on a Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on a weekend, bank holidays and after 1pm will not be dispatched until the next working day*.

If an item is not available for express delivery it will be clearly noted in the product details. You may also call our customer service team to enquire about delivery times for large & bulky item before purchase.

* - Next Working days are Monday to Friday & does not include weekends. 

Express delivery services are booked as a next working day delivery option, where available.

* - Express delivery charges are non refundable if the delay is due to the courier and the tracking confirms the delivery was shipped on time by Butchers Equipment Warehouse, however a refund will be given if the item is still not delivered by the 3rd working day, please call for further information. 

On occasions of failed delivery for age verified deliveries, delivery will be re-attempted the following working day. If the delivery is still unsuccessful after these attempts the courier will leave a calling card and hold the parcel for a further 24 hours for you to contact them and re-arrange delivery. On occasion that contact is not made and the parcel is returned to Butchers Equipment Warehouse an admin charge of £8.00 + VAT (£9.60) along with the original delivery costs will be deducted from your refund.

Failed delivery is considered as customer not present or customer unable to provide age verified identification.

Delivery is to the entrance only & does not include unpacking, positioning or assembling items. The Customer must examine the Goods on delivery and before the carrier leaves the Customer’s premises and if there is any damage the Customer must either refuse delivery or clearly specify damage on the delivery note.

    The Supplier shall not be liable for any failure to deliver the Goods arising from circumstances outside the Supplier’s control.

    Non-exhaustive illustrations of such circumstances would be act of God, war, riot, explosion, abnormal weather conditions, fire, flood, strikes, lockouts, Government action or regulations (UK or otherwise), delay by suppliers, accidents and shortage of materials, labour or manufacturing facilities.
